It takes many hands and minds to end the dog meat trade (DMT) and we will only succeed working together. From adopting or fostering a rescued pup to funding our rescues and advocacy work, here are a few ways to get involved with DoVEProject.
Adopt or Foster a Dog
While working to end the dog meat trade and encourage local adoption, we do meet pups who need a forever home. They are also our world ambassadors!
In addition to adoption, we also offer pre-adoption and fostering opportunities for our pups flying into Los Angeles.
Donate
The quickest way to make a difference—your contribution goes directly to supporting activists on the ground, raising awareness through education and advocacy work, and rescuing dogs. You can also organize a fund-raising event wherever you're located.
Spread the Word
Knowledge is power. You can help raise awareness and advocate for change by sharing our social media posts and articles with your friends, making phone calls or signing petitions that we post. Follow us or sign up for our e-newsletter.
Be a Flight Volunteer
If you or someone you know is traveling direct from S. Korea to Los Angeles, please consider being a “flight volunteer” for our rescued dogs. We arrange everything to make this experience as smooth as possible as you play an integral role in bringing a dog to their forever home.
You will be met at Incheon Airport by a DoVE Project representative who will have the crated pup/s and all necessary documentation. Our rep will accompany you as the dog is checked in as excess baggage, and will also pay all fees associated with transporting the animal to the U.S.. Upon arrival, you will pick up the pup in baggage claim and be met in the arrivals terminal by another DoVE rep who will then deliver the pup to their excited family.
